Larry Bird was more than just "the hick from French Lick." During his 13 years as a Boston Celtic he was a 12-time NBA All-Star and scored over 21,000 career points. Besides leading the Green and White to three championships, Bird was co-captain of the first Dream Team and led them to Olympic gold in 1992.
